Ben Abbott

Ecologist, Father
Background

He's an ecologist at Brigham Young University who has spent his career following water through farms, watersheds, and river systems, from Alaska to rural France and back home to the Great Basin. Now he leads Grow the Flow, a group working to get more water to the Great Salt Lake before it's too late, by bringing farmers, faith communities, and scientists to the same table. He and his wife are raising four kids who share his love of animals and biking, which is a good reminder of who the lake is being saved for.
